| रानी कैकेयी ने अपने पिता को धोखा देकर उनसे वन भेजने का वर माँगा। यह देखकर धर्मात्मा राम ने मन में निश्चय किया कि मैं अपने पिता को सत्यनिष्ठ बनाऊँगा (उनके द्वारा दिए गए वरदान या वचन को पूरा करूँगा) और इसी निश्चय के अनुसार वे स्वयं वन को चले गए॥10॥ |
