आकाश में भ्रमण करते हुए कुबेर के छोटे भाई रावण ने मार्ग में चारों ओर अनेक श्वेतवर्णी विमान, गन्धर्व और अप्सराएँ देखीं। वे विशाल विमान, जो स्वेच्छा से गति करते थे, उन पुण्यात्मा पुरुषों के थे जिन्होंने तपस्या द्वारा पुण्यलोकों पर विजय प्राप्त की थी। वे विमान दिव्य पुष्पों से सुशोभित थे और उनके भीतर से संगीत और वाद्यों की ध्वनि निकल रही थी।॥19-20॥
While travelling through the sky, Ravana, the younger brother of Kubera, saw many white coloured planes, Gandharvas and Apsaras all around on the way. Those huge planes which moved at will belonged to those pious men who had conquered the virtuous worlds through penance. Those planes were decorated with divine flowers and the sound of music and musical instruments was emanating from within them.॥19-20॥
