'उन प्रजापतियों में प्रथम का नाम कर्दम था, तदनन्तर दूसरे प्रजापति का नाम विकृत हुआ, तीसरे के शेष, चौथे के संश्रय और पाँचवें प्रजापति के पराक्रमी पुत्र हुए ॥7॥
'The first among those Prajapatis was Kardam. Subsequently, the name of the second Prajapati got distorted, the third Shesh, the fourth Sanshraya and the fifth Prajapati had mighty sons. 7॥
