इस प्रकार मिथिला की पुत्री सीता को मंदाकिनी नदी दिखाकर भगवान राम उनके साथ पर्वत के समतल प्रदेश में बैठ गए और तपस्वियों के लिए उपयुक्त फल और मूल का गूदा खिलाकर उनका लाड़-प्यार करने लगे तथा उनके मन की प्रसन्नता बढ़ाने लगे।
In this manner, after showing the Mandakini river to Sita, the daughter of Mithila, Lord Rama sat with her on the plain region of the mountain and began to pamper her and enhance her mental happiness by feeding her the pulp of fruits and roots, which are meant for the consumption of ascetics.
