उपस्पृशंस्त्रिषवणं मधुमूलफलाशन:।
नायोध्यायै न राज्याय स्पृहये च त्वया सह॥ १७॥ |

| 'प्रिये! मैं न तो अयोध्या जाना चाहता हूँ और न ही तुम्हारे साथ दिन में तीन बार स्नान करके तथा मीठे फल-मूल खाकर राज्य प्राप्त करना चाहता हूँ॥ 17॥ |
