सुषुवे यममित्रघ्नं कौसल्याऽऽनन्दवर्धनम्।
भ्रात्रा सह सभार्यो यश्चिरं प्रव्राजितो वनम्॥ ११॥
नियुक्त: स्त्रीनिमित्तेन पित्रा योऽसौ महायशा:।
वनवासी भवेतीह समा: किल चतुर्दश॥ १२॥
कच्चिन्न तस्यापापस्य पापं कर्तुमिहेच्छसि।
अकण्टकं भोक्तुमना राज्यं तस्यानुजस्य च॥ १३॥ |

| शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले, कौसल्याजी ने जिस हर्षित पुत्र को जन्म दिया है और जिस परम यशस्वी पुत्र को तुम्हारे पिता ने अपनी पत्नी के कारण चौदह वर्ष तक वन में रहने की आज्ञा दी है और उसे अपने भाई और पत्नी के साथ दीर्घकाल के लिए वन में भेज दिया है, क्या तुम सनातन राज्य भोगने की इच्छा से उन निष्पाप श्री राम और उनके छोटे भाई लक्ष्मण का कुछ अनिष्ट करना चाहते हो? 11-13॥ |
