ज्येष्ठ: श्रेष्ठश्च धर्मात्मा दिलीपनहुषोपम:।
लब्धुमर्हति काकुत्स्थो राज्यं दशरथो यथा॥ १३॥ |

| 'पुण्यवान श्री राम मुझसे बड़े हैं और गुणों में भी श्रेष्ठ हैं। वे दिलीप और नहुष के समान यशस्वी हैं; अतः राजा दशरथ के समान वे ही इस राज्य के अधिकारी हैं।॥13॥ |
