स ते सुखोचितो बालो रामस्य सहजो रिपु:।
समृद्धार्थस्य नष्टार्थो जीविष्यति कथं वशे॥ ३५॥
अनुवाद
'सौतेला भाई होने के कारण वह राम का स्वाभाविक शत्रु है, राज्य और धन से वंचित तथा सुख भोगने में समर्थ आपका पुत्र भरत, राज्य पाकर समृद्ध हुए राम के अधीन होकर कैसे जीवित रहेगा?॥ 35॥
'Being his step-brother, he is Rama's natural enemy, how will your son Bharat, who is deprived of his kingdom and wealth and is capable of enjoying happiness, survive after coming under the control of Rama, who has become prosperous after getting the kingdom?॥ 35॥
