भरत के कहने पर शत्रुघ्न भी उनके साथ गए (यदि वे वहाँ होते तो भरत का काम बिगड़ता नहीं, क्योंकि -) जैसे लक्ष्मण राम के अनुयायी हैं, वैसे ही शत्रुघ्न भी भरत के अनुयायी होंगे॥ 29॥
‘At Bharata's request, Shatrughna also went with him (had he been there, Bharata's work would not have been spoiled because -) Just as Lakshmana is a follower of Rama, in the same way Shatrughna will follow Bharata.॥ 29॥
