भरत के ये वचन सुनकर लक्ष्मण के छोटे भाई शत्रुघ्न ने मन्थरा के वध के पाप से अपने को मुक्त कर लिया और उसे मूर्छित अवस्था में ही छोड़ दिया॥ 24॥
On hearing these words of Bharata, Shatrughna, the younger brother of Lakshmana, absolved himself of the sin of killing Manthra and left her in an unconscious state.॥ 24॥
