वहाँ एक सुन्दर वन में निवास करके प्रातःकाल वह पूर्व दिशा की ओर चला गया। चलते-चलते वह उज्जैन नगरी के उद्यान में पहुँचा, जहाँ कदम्ब नामक बहुत से वृक्ष थे। ॥12॥
After staying in a beautiful forest there, he went towards the east in the morning. While going, he reached the garden of the city of Ujjain, where there were many trees named Kadamba. ॥12॥
