| नगर के सभी लोग आँसू बहा रहे थे। कुलीन स्त्रियाँ विलाप कर रही थीं। चौराहे और घरों के द्वार सूने लग रहे थे। (झाड़ू लगाना, लीपना और बलि चढ़ाना आदि कोई काम नहीं हो रहा था।) अतः नगर पहले जैसा सुन्दर नहीं लग रहा था। |
