तत्र त्वं मम नैवासि रामश्च वनमाहित:।
न वनं गन्तुमिच्छामि सर्वथा हा हता त्वया॥ २५॥ |

| ‘इन आधारों में से तू मेरा बिल्कुल भी नहीं है (क्योंकि तू मेरी सहधर्मिणी के वश में है)। दूसरा आधार तो श्री राम हैं, जिन्हें वन में भेज दिया गया है (और मेरे स्वजन भी दूर हैं। अतः तीसरा आधार भी नहीं रहा)। मैं तेरी सेवा छोड़कर वन में श्री राम के पास जाना नहीं चाहता, इसीलिए मैं तेरे द्वारा सर्वथा मारा गया हूँ॥ 25॥ |
