इस प्रकार एक कोस की दूरी तय करके श्री राम और लक्ष्मण दोनों भाई यमुना के तट पर वनों में विचरण करने लगे और मार्ग में जो भी जंगली जानवर मिले, उन्हें मारते गए (प्राणियों के कल्याण के लिए)।
After travelling a distance of one Kos in this manner, the two brothers, Shri Ram and Lakshman, started wandering in the forests on the banks of the Yamuna, killing the wild animals they found on the way (for the welfare of all living creatures).
