न्यवेदयत चात्मानं तस्मै लक्ष्मणपूर्वज:।
पुत्रौ दशरथस्यावां भगवन् रामलक्ष्मणौ॥ १३॥
भार्या ममेयं कल्याणी वैदेही जनकात्मजा।
मां चानुयाता विजनं तपोवनमनिन्दिता॥ १४॥ |

| तत्पश्चात् लक्ष्मण के बड़े भाई श्री रघुनाथ ने उन्हें अपना परिचय इस प्रकार दिया - 'प्रभो! हम दोनों राजा दशरथ के पुत्र हैं। मेरा नाम राम है और उनका नाम लक्ष्मण है, और वे विदेहराज जनक की पुत्री तथा मेरी शुभ पत्नी, सती एवं पतिव्रता सीता हैं, जो एकांत तपोवन में भी मेरे साथ रहने आई हैं।॥ 13-14॥ |

| Thereafter, Lakshmana's elder brother Sri Raghunatha introduced himself to him thus - 'Lord! We both are sons of King Dasharatha. My name is Ram and his is Lakshmana and she is the daughter of Videhraj Janaka and my auspicious wife, the sati and virtuous Sita, who has come to accompany me even in the secluded Tapovan.॥ 13-14॥ |
