प्रणष्टजनसम्बाधं क्षेत्रारामविवर्जितम्।
विषमं च प्रपातं च वनमद्य प्रवेक्ष्यति॥ ९८॥
अनुवाद
‘अब वे ऐसे वन में प्रवेश करेंगे, जहाँ किसी मनुष्य के आने-जाने का कोई चिह्न न होगा, न धान के खेत होंगे, न चलने के लिए बगीचे होंगे। जहाँ ऊबड़-खाबड़ भूमि और गड्ढे होंगे, जिनमें गिरने का भय रहेगा।’॥98॥
‘Now they will enter such a forest, where no signs of human coming and going will be visible, there will be no paddy fields, no gardens to walk in. Where there will be uneven land and pits in which there will be a fear of falling.’॥98॥
