रामं सुमन्त्र: सततं निरीक्ष्य।

| सुमन्त्र उन्हें निरन्तर देखते रहे, जब तक कि श्री रामचन्द्रजी शीघ्र ही गंगा के उस पार पहुँचकर प्रकट नहीं हो गए। जब वे वन-मार्ग में बहुत दूर निकलकर अदृश्य हो गए, तब तपस्वी सुमन्त्र के हृदय में बड़ी पीड़ा हुई। वे नेत्रों से आँसू बहाने लगे॥100॥ |
