व्यापारियों की दुकानें बंद होने के कारण वहाँ कोई चहल-पहल नहीं थी। सारा नगर भगवान राम के आनंद और प्रसन्नता से विहीन था। भगवान राम के आश्रय से विहीन अयोध्या नगरी उस आकाश के समान सूनी प्रतीत हो रही थी जिसके तारे छिप गए हों।
As the shops of the merchants were shut, there was no hustle and bustle there. The whole city was devoid of the joy and happiness of Lord Rama. The city of Ayodhya, devoid of the shelter of Lord Rama, appeared to be as destitute as the sky whose stars have hidden.
