अगृह्णां यच्च ते पाणिमग्निं पर्यणयं च यत्।
अनुजानामि तत् सर्वमस्मिंल्लोके परत्र च॥ ८॥
अनुवाद
'मैंने तुम्हारा हाथ पकड़कर अग्नि की परिक्रमा करते हुए तुम्हें अपने साथ ले लिया है; मैं इस लोक और परलोक में भी तुम्हारा सब प्रकार का सम्बन्ध त्यागता हूँ।॥8॥
'I have taken your hand in marriage and have taken you along with me while circumambulating the fire; I renounce all association with you for this world as well as the next.॥ 8॥
