व्यसनी वा समृद्धो वा गतिरेष तवानघ।
एष लोके सतां धर्मो यज्ज्येष्ठवशगो भवेत्॥ ६॥
अनुवाद
चाहे संकट हो या सुख, यही तुम्हारी अंतिम गति है। हे निष्पाप लक्ष्मण! इस संसार में सज्जनों का कर्तव्य है कि वे सदैव अपने बड़े भाई की आज्ञा में रहें।
‘Whether it is in trouble or in prosperity, this is your ultimate destination. Sinless Lakshman! It is the duty of good men in this world to always remain under the orders of their elder brother.
