जैसे हाथी को जब अंकुश से पीड़ा होती है, तब वह पीड़ा सहन नहीं कर सकता, उसी प्रकार सिंहहृदय श्री रामजी के लिए अपने माता-पिता की ऐसी दयनीय अवस्था देखना असह्य हो गया॥42॥
Just as an elephant cannot bear the pain when it is tormented by the goad, similarly for the lion-hearted Sri Rama it became unbearable to see his parents in such a pitiable state. ॥ 42॥
