ऐसा कहते-कहते राजा के नेत्रों में आँसू भर आए। उनकी इन्द्रियाँ क्षीण हो गईं और वे एक बार 'हे राम!' कहकर मूर्छित हो गए। वे आगे कुछ न बोल सके।॥8॥
‘While saying this, the king's eyes filled with tears. His senses became weak and he fainted after saying 'O Ram!' once. He could not say anything further.'॥ 8॥
