एष स्वभावो नारीणामनुभूय पुरा सुखम्।
अल्पामप्यापदं प्राप्य दुष्यन्ति प्रजहत्यपि॥ २१॥
अनुवाद
'दुष्ट स्त्रियों का स्वभाव है कि पहले तो वे अपने पति के द्वारा बहुत सुख भोगती हैं, परन्तु जब पति को जरा भी कष्ट होता है, तब वे उसे दोष देकर त्याग देती हैं।॥ 21॥
'It is the nature of wicked women that at first they enjoy ample happiness through their husbands, but when he faces even the slightest difficulty, they blame him and abandon him.॥ 21॥
