न मे तथा पार्थिव धीयते मनो
महत्सु कामेषु न चात्मन: प्रिये।
यथा निदेशे तव शिष्टसम्मते

| हे पृथ्वीपति! हे निष्पाप महाराज! जिस प्रकार मेरा मन पुण्यात्माओं द्वारा अनुमोदित आपकी आज्ञाओं के पालन में आकृष्ट होता है, उसी प्रकार बड़े-बड़े भोगों में भी अथवा अपनी प्रिय वस्तुओं में भी आकृष्ट नहीं होता; इसलिए मेरे प्रति आपके मन में जो शोक है, वह दूर हो जाए॥ 57॥ |
