अथापि च महाप्राज्ञ ब्राह्मणानां मया श्रुतम्।
पुरा पितृगृहे सत्यं वस्तव्यं किल मे वने॥ ८॥ |

| हे महर्षि! यद्यपि वन पाप और दुःखों से भरा हुआ है, तथापि मैंने अपने पिता के घर रहते हुए ब्राह्मणों से सुना था कि 'मुझे अवश्य ही वन में रहना पड़ेगा।' यह वचन मेरे जीवन भर सत्य रहेगा।॥8॥ |
