| तत्पश्चात् शोक से व्याकुल कौशल्या प्रसन्नचित्त होकर स्पष्ट रूप से मंत्र पढ़ने लगीं। उस समय वे केवल वाणी से ही मंत्र पढ़ सकती थीं, हृदय से नहीं (क्योंकि उनका हृदय श्रीराम के वियोग की संभावना से व्यथित था)। वे शोक से रुँधे हुए और लड़खड़ाते हुए स्वर से मंत्र पढ़ रही थीं। |
