यावज्जीवति काकुत्स्थ: पिता मे जगतीपति:।
शुश्रूषा क्रियतां तावत् स हि धर्म: सनातन:॥ १३॥
अनुवाद
‘जब तक मेरे पिता, ककुत्स्थ कुल के रत्न महाराज दशरथ जीवित हैं, तब तक तुम उनकी सेवा करो। पति की सेवा करना ही स्त्री का सनातन धर्म है।’॥13॥
‘As long as my father, Maharaja Dasharath, the jewel of the Kakutstha clan, is alive, you should serve him. Serving one’s husband is the eternal religion for a woman.’॥ 13॥
