यदचिन्त्यं तु तद् दैवं भूतेष्वपि न हन्यते।
व्यक्तं मयि च तस्यां च पतितो हि विपर्यय:॥ २०॥ |

| जो कभी सोचा भी नहीं गया, वह भगवान् का विधान है। प्राणियों में अथवा उनके इष्टदेवों में भी ऐसा कोई नहीं है जो भगवान् के विधान को मिटा सके; अतः निश्चय ही उन्हीं की प्रेरणा से मेरे और कैकेयी में यह महान् विप्लव हुआ है (मेरे हाथ का राज्य चला गया है और कैकेयी का मन बदल गया है)॥ 20॥ |

| ‘That which has never been thought about is the law of God. There is no one among the living beings or even among their presiding deities who can erase the law of God; therefore, it is certainly due to His inspiration that this great upheaval has taken place between me and Kaikeyi (the kingdom that was in my hands has gone away and Kaikeyi's mind has changed).॥ 20॥ |
