यशो ह्यहं केवलराज्यकारणा-
न्न पृष्ठत: कर्तुमलं महोदयम्।
अदीर्घकालेन तु देवि जीविते

| मैं धर्म के पालन से उत्पन्न होने वाले महान यश को, केवल धर्मरहित राज्य के लिए त्याग नहीं सकता। हे माता! जीवन अधिक समय तक नहीं चलने वाला है; इसलिए मैं आज धर्मरहित इस तुच्छ पृथ्वी का राज्य नहीं लेना चाहता। ॥63॥ |
