कौशल्या ने अपने जीवन में सदैव सुख भोगा था और वह उसके योग्य भी थी, परन्तु उस समय वह दुःख से घिर गई। लक्ष्मण सुनते हुए उसने अपने पास बैठे हुए नरसिंह श्री राम से यह कहा-॥35॥
