सत्यं समनुवर्तस्व यदि धर्मे धृता मति:।
स वर: सफलो मेऽस्तु वरदो ह्यसि सत्तम॥ ८॥
अनुवाद
अतः यदि तुम्हारी बुद्धि धर्म में स्थित है, तो सत्य का आचरण करो। हे महामुनि! मैंने जो वरदान माँगा है, वह पूर्ण हो; क्योंकि उस वरदान को देने वाले आप स्वयं हैं।
‘Therefore if your intellect is situated in Dharma, then follow the truth. O great saint! The boon I have asked for should come true; because you yourself are the giver of that boon.
