द्वारपाल, जो राजा को प्रसन्न करना चाहते थे और राजा के आदरणीय थे, उस वृद्ध सचिव को प्रवेश करने से न रोक सके; क्योंकि राजा ने पहले ही उसे आदेश दे रखा था कि उसे किसी भी समय प्रवेश करने से न रोका जाए ॥44॥
The gatekeepers, who wanted to please the king and were respected by him, could not stop the old secretary from entering; because the king had already ordered him not to be stopped from entering at any time. ॥ 44॥
