हे राजन! आप ऐसे वचन क्यों बोल रहे हैं जो विष और काँटों के समान दुःख देने वाले हैं (इन वचनों से कुछ होने वाला नहीं है)। बिना किसी कष्ट के अपने पुत्र श्री राम को यहाँ बुला लीजिए। मेरे पुत्र को राजसिंहासन पर स्थापित कीजिए और श्री राम को वन भेजकर मुझे कष्टमुक्त कीजिए; तभी आपकी संतुष्टि होगी।॥ 21-22॥
‘O King! Why are you speaking such words which cause pain like diseases like poison and thorns (nothing is going to happen with these words). Without any trouble, call your son Shri Ram here. Establish my son on the throne and send Shri Ram to the forest and make me trouble-free; only then will you be satisfied.'॥ 21-22॥
