यदि दत्त्वा वरौ राजन् पुन: प्रत्यनुतप्यसे।
धार्मिकत्वं कथं वीर पृथिव्यां कथयिष्यसि॥ ३९॥
अनुवाद
हे राजन! यदि आप दो वरदान देने के बाद भी पश्चाताप करते हैं, तो इस संसार में अपनी धार्मिकता का यश कैसे फैला सकेंगे?
'O King! If after giving two boons you repent for them then how will you be able to spread the rumour of your righteousness in this world, O brave king?
