जब वह उसे बड़े जोर से खींच रहा था, तब धनुष बीच में से टूटकर दो टुकड़ों में बँट गया। उसके टूटते ही भयंकर शब्द हुआ, मानो वहाँ वज्र गिर पड़ा हो॥49॥
