| वह नगर उस पहाड़ी नदी के समान क्षीण दिखाई दे रहा था जिसका जल सूर्य की किरणों से गर्म होकर गंदला हो गया था, जिसके पक्षी गर्मी से व्याकुल होकर भाग गए थे और जिसके मछलियाँ, मछलियाँ और मगरमच्छ गहरे जल में छिप गए थे। |
