स राजा सगरो नाम य: समुद्रमखानयत्।
इष्ट्वा पर्वणि वेगेन त्रासयान इमा: प्रजा:॥ २५॥
अनुवाद
'राजा सगर वही पुरुष हैं जिन्होंने पर्व के दिन यज्ञ में दीक्षा लेकर अपने पुत्रों द्वारा समुद्र खुदवाया था और खुदाई के वेग से सारी प्रजा को भयभीत कर दिया था॥ 25॥
'King Sagara is the same person who, after taking initiation in the Yagya on the day of the festival, had got the ocean dug by his sons, frightening all the subjects with the speed of the digging.॥ 25॥
