पूर्वं प्रतिज्ञा विदिता वीर्यशुल्का ममात्मजा।

| 'हे राजन! आपको मेरी पूर्व प्रतिज्ञा अवश्य ज्ञात होगी। मैंने अपनी पुत्री के विवाह के लिए वीरता का मूल्य निश्चित किया था।' यह सुनकर अनेक राजा क्षुब्ध होकर यहाँ आए; किन्तु वे वीरताहीन सिद्ध हुए और निराश होकर घर लौट गए। |
