गौतमं स ददर्शाथ प्रविशन्तं महामुनिम्॥ २३॥
देवदानवदुर्धर्षं तपोबलसमन्वितम्।
तीर्थोदकपरिक्लिन्नं दीप्यमानमिवानलम्॥ २४॥
गृहीतसमिधं तत्र सकुशं मुनिपुंगवम्। |

| तभी उसने देखा कि देवताओं और दानवों को भी भयंकर लगने वाले तथा तपशक्ति से संपन्न महामुनि गौतम हाथ में लकड़ी लिए आश्रम में प्रवेश कर रहे हैं। उनका शरीर तीर्थ के जल में भीगा हुआ था और वे प्रज्वलित अग्नि के समान चमक रहे थे॥ 23-24 1/2॥ |
