सुमागधी नदी रम्या मागधान् विश्रुताऽऽययौ।
पञ्चानां शैलमुख्यानां मध्ये मालेव शोभते॥ ९॥ |

| यह सुन्दर नदी (सोन) दक्षिण-पश्चिम से बहकर मगध देश में प्रवेश करती है, इसलिए यहाँ 'सुमाग्धी' नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। इन पाँचों महान पर्वतों के बीच में यह माला के समान शोभा पा रही है॥9॥ |
