सोऽहं पितुर्वच: श्रुत्वा शासनाद् ब्रह्मवादिन:।
करिष्यामि न संदेहस्ताटकावधमुत्तमम्॥ ४॥
अनुवाद
अतः पिता से यह उपदेश सुनकर मैं महाब्रह्मवादी आपकी आज्ञा से इसे ताड़का वध सम्बन्धी श्रेष्ठ कर्म मानूँगा - इसमें संशय नहीं है।॥4॥
"Therefore, having heard this advice from my father, I will, on the orders of you, the great Brahmavadi, consider it to be the best act related to the killing of Tataka - there is no doubt about it. ॥ 4॥
