ब्रह्माजी ने स्वयं उस कन्या को एक हजार हाथियों का बल दिया; परन्तु महाप्रतापी पितामह ने उस यक्ष को पुत्र-प्राप्ति का आशीर्वाद नहीं दिया (यह सोचकर कि यदि उसे अपनी इच्छानुसार पुत्र प्राप्त हुआ, तो वह लोगों को बहुत कष्ट देगा, ब्रह्माजी ने उसे पुत्र-प्राप्ति का आशीर्वाद नहीं दिया)।
Brahma himself gave that girl the strength of a thousand elephants; but the illustrious grandfather did not bless that Yaksha with a son (thinking that if he got a son as per his wish, he would cause great trouble to the people, Brahma did not bless him with a son).
