मधूकाम्रवणोपेतं प्लक्षन्यग्रोधसंकुलम्।
चिरबिल्वयुतं पुण्यं पनसार्जुनसंकुलम्॥ २॥
तं दृष्ट्वा यादवश्रेष्ठ: प्रवरं पुण्यलक्षणम्।
पप्रच्छ तानृषीन् सर्वान् कस्याश्रमवरस्त्वयम्॥ ३॥ |

| महुआ और आम के वृक्षों के वन उस आश्रम की शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे। पाक्कड़ और बरगद के वृक्ष वहाँ अपनी छाया फैला रहे थे। चिलबिल, कटहल और अर्जुन के वृक्ष सर्वत्र फैले हुए थे। पुण्य लक्षणों से युक्त उस पवित्र और उत्तम आश्रम को देखकर यादवों में श्रेष्ठ बलरामजी ने उन सभी ऋषियों से पूछा, 'यह किसका सुंदर आश्रम है?'॥2-3॥ |

| Forests of Mahua and Mango trees were enhancing the beauty of that ashram. Pakkad and Banyan trees were spreading their shade there. Chilbil, Jackfruit and Arjun (group) trees were found everywhere. After seeing that holy and excellent ashram endowed with virtuous characteristics, the best of the Yadavas, Balarama asked all those sages, 'Whose beautiful ashram is this?'॥2-3॥ |
