वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - "भरतनन्दन! यह वही सोमतीर्थ है जहाँ नक्षत्रों के स्वामी चन्द्रमा ने राजसूय यज्ञ किया था। उसी तीर्थ में नक्षत्रों का महान् संग्राम हुआ था॥1॥
Vaishampayana says, "Bharatanandan! That is the same Som-tirtha where the Lord of the stars, Chandrama, performed the Rajasuya Yagya. In that same tirtha, the great battle of stars took place.॥ 1॥
