तत: किरीटी प्रतिलभ्य संज्ञां
जग्राह बाणं यमदण्डकल्पम्॥ ३२॥
ततोऽर्जुन: प्राञ्जलिकं महात्मा
ततोऽब्रवीद् वासुदेवोऽपि पार्थम्।
छिन्ध्यस्य मूर्धानमरे: शरेण
न यावदारोहति वै रथं वृष:॥ ३३॥ |

| इसी समय किरीटधारी महात्मा अर्जुन को होश आया और उन्होंने हाथ में अंजलीक नामक बाण ले लिया, जो यम की गदा के समान भयंकर था। यह देखकर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने भी अर्जुन से कहा - 'पार्थ! कर्ण के रथ पर चढ़ने से पहले ही अपने बाण से इस शत्रु का सिर काट डालो।' |
