संजय उवाच
तमब्रवीद् वासुदेवो रथस्थो
राधेय दिष्टॺा स्मरसीह धर्मम्।
प्रायेण नीचा व्यसनेषु मग्ना
निन्दन्ति दैवं कुकृतं न तु स्वम्॥ १॥ |

| संजय कहते हैं - राजन ! उस समय रथ पर बैठे हुए भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कर्ण से कहा - 'राधानंदन ! यह सौभाग्य की बात है कि तुम इस समय यहाँ धर्म का स्मरण कर रहे हो ! प्रायः देखा जाता है कि जब नीच लोग संकट में पड़ते हैं, तो वे भगवान को ही दोष देते हैं । अपने द्वारा किये गए दुष्कर्मों को नहीं ॥ 1॥ |
