विशालायतताम्राक्षै: पद्मेन्दुसदृशाननै:॥ ७४॥
शिरोभिर्युद्धशौण्डानां सर्वत: संवृता मही।
यथा भुवि तथा व्योम्नि नि:स्वनं शुश्रुवुर्जना:॥ ७५॥

| सम्पूर्ण युद्धभूमि चारों ओर से कमल और चन्द्रमा के समान मुख वाले कुशल योद्धाओं के विशाल, विस्तृत और लाल नेत्रों तथा मस्तकों से आच्छादित थी। भूमि पर जो कोलाहल हो रहा था, वह आकाश में भी लोगों को सुनाई दे रहा था। वहाँ विमानों पर बैठी अप्सराओं के समूह गीत और वाद्यों की मधुर ध्वनि फैला रहे थे। |
