तेषां पितामह: प्रीतो वरद: प्रददौ वरम्॥ ७॥
अवध्यत्वं च ते राजन् सर्वभूतस्य सर्वदा।
सहिता वरयामासु: सर्वलोकपितामहम्॥ ८॥
अनुवाद
राजन! उन पर प्रसन्न होकर वरदाता भगवान ब्रह्मा उन्हें वर देने के लिए तत्पर हो गए। उस समय वे तीनों एकत्र हुए और समस्त लोकों के पिता ब्रह्मा से यह वर माँगा कि 'हम सर्वदा समस्त भूतों से मुक्त रहें।'
Rajan! Pleased with them, Lord Brahma, the giver of blessings, got ready to grant them the boon. At that time, all three of them came together and asked for this boon from Brahma, the father of all the worlds, that 'we should always be free from all the ghosts'.
