धनंजय युद्धोन्माद से भरे हुए रथियों पर सवार होकर, प्रशिक्षित घोड़ों द्वारा खींचे जाने वाले शत्रुओं पर अपने बाणों की वर्षा करते और गंधर्व नगर के समान विशाल सुसज्जित रथों को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर देते तथा सुसज्जित घुड़सवारों और पैदल सैनिकों को भी मार डालते ॥45-46॥
Dhananjaya, with his arrows, would shower arrows on the enemies drawn by well-trained horses, riding on war-mad charioteers and breaking into pieces decorated chariots as big as the Gandharva city, and would also kill well-decorated horsemen and infantry. ॥45-46॥
