उस समय संशप्तक योद्धा क्रोध में भरकर कुपित अर्जुन की ओर दौड़े, मानो मदोन्मत्त बैल मैथुन की इच्छा से गायों के लिए लड़ रहे हों। जिस प्रकार बैल एक-दूसरे पर सींगों से आक्रमण करते हैं, उसी प्रकार वे स्वयं पर भी आक्रमण करने लगे और अपने बाणों से अर्जुन को भी घायल करने लगे।
At that time the Samshaptaka warriors, filled with rage, rushed towards the enraged Arjuna, roaring and growling like intoxicated bulls fighting for a cow in desire of mating. And just as bulls attack each other with their horns, in the same manner they attacked themselves and also began injuring Arjuna with their arrows.
